LIE: Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.
TRUTH: After four years of looking for evidence of this, none was found.

For four years we heard that Trump colluded with the Russian government to rig the 2016 election. The argument is that the Trump campaign actively worked with the Russian government to coordinate activities. There’s evidence that the campaign active sought “dirt” on the Hillary Clinton campaign but that seems to be about the extent of who they worked together. None of the evidence rose to being able to convict anyone of conspiracy. Call it what you want – collusion, coordination, conspiracy they are all basically the same concept.

Let’s set aside why the investigation started, the claims started even before election day and ran for most of Trump’s presidency while Robert Mueller investigated the allegations and any other crimes they discovered along the way.

Examples of media/Democrat claims that Trump colluded with the Russian government:

The Mueller Report found no convictable evidence of conspiracy

Fast forward almost four years and we have the Mueller Report. In it, the language changed from talk of “collusion” to “conspiracy” because collusion doesn’t have a legal construct. Even then, there wasn’t enough evidence to convict anyone of conspiracy either. So like we said, call it what you want – collusion or conspiracy, there was no convictable evidence that it took place so the whole claim is a lie.
